St. Catherine University is committed to helping students find academic and personal success during their time on campus.
Tutoring and Academic Support
The O’Neill Center for Academic Development provides one-on-one and small group tutoring, as well as help improving your study skills.
Student Accessibility and Accommodations
St. Kate’s values diversity of all kinds, including representation of those with differing abilities. It’s our goal to remove barriers to full participation in the academic and co-curricular experience — online and on campus.
Basic Needs Resources and Parenting Support
Access and Success social work staff offer confidential support to students to address basic needs emergencies such as housing, food, transportation and medical coverage, as well as confidential pregnancy and parenting support. We work with students at all degree levels who need help balancing parenting, attending classes, and other life demands.
Financial Counseling and Resources
Through our Money Management program, we offer financial education and resources to students through presentations, workshops, one-on-one counseling and courses.
On-Campus Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Center provides care and education for the young children (33 months–6 years) of students, faculty, staff, and other community members.
TRIO Student Support Services
TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) empowers students to develop the skills, strengths, and advocacy needed for success at St. Kate's and beyond.
Health and Wellness Clinic
The Health and Wellness Clinic provides the full spectrum of primary care services for students, including routine wellness exams, illness and mental health. We are your first stop when you are feeling ill or in need of a routine appointment.
The Office of Student Affairs works with students, the University, and community partners to deliver programs and services to enhance the student experience at St. Catherine University.
Our caring staff offers a variety of services to support student mental health, at no cost to students. We provide confidential services including short-term individual counseling for students, Let’s Talk consultations, a weekday 2 p.m. crisis hour, phone crisis counseling through a collaboration with ProtoCall, referrals to campus and community resources, and consultation to students, faculty, and staff.
Active Military and Veteran Support
St. Catherine University is dedicated to providing a comprehensive support system for military veterans, active service members, and military family members.
