The Women's Choir

The Women’s Choir is our principal collegiate choral ensemble. The choir makes numerous concert appearances throughout the year, both locally and on biennial tours . Performance experiences include formal concerts on and off- campus, unique “collage” concerts, joint performances with choirs from other colleges and performances at festivals, workshops and major campus events. The choir performs music of many styles, with a special interest in compositions by women. Rehearsals: MW 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Femme Vocale - a small a cappella group is selected from within the Women’s Choir and meets once week.

This mixed chorus combines the voices of students, faculty, staff and community members in performances of symphonic choral masterpieces. Their concerts are accompanied by a professional symphony orchestra and often, guest soloists. Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings 7:00 - 9:15 p.m.
