Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
U.S. Department of Education application to determine eligibility for federal student aid. Students must apply annually, usually beginning October 1st for the upcoming academic year. The Department of Education made significant changes to the FAFSA in 2024. Students can learn more on the Federal Student Aid website.
St. Kate’s Financial Aid Application
This form is used to determine eligibility for state and institutional aid; it is not required for federal aid. If you are a first-time, first-year student in the College for Women, you do not need to complete this form. Please log in to this form using your St. Kate’s single-sign-on credentials. Once you’ve opened the form, please select the correct aid year from the dropdown menu at the top.

Child Care Grant Application 2025-26
The Child Care Grant program provides financial assistance to students who have children 12 and under, are not receiving assistance under the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP), and who demonstrate financial need for grants, to help pay for child care while pursuing a postsecondary education. FAFSA Data Release Authorization
An authorization form allowing St. Kate's Financial Aid Office permission to release your financial aid information to a third party. It includes both a FERPA authorization as well as FAFSA data release authorization. FAFSA data includes items such as, but not limited to, your calculated Student Aid Index, your Federal Pell Grant eligibility, other federal, state, or institutional funding, and financial need. It does not include authorization for the Financial Aid Office to share Federal Tax Information (FTI) such as filing status, AGI, or income earned, transferred to your FAFSA during the application process.
Federal Tax Information (FTI) Data Release Authorization
An authorization form allowing St. Kate's Financial Aid Office permission to release your financial aid information - including Federal Tax Information (FTI) from your FAFSA - to a third party. This form gives permission under FERPA, the Higher Education Act (HEA) of 1974, and the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 for the Financial Aid Office to share your financial aid information, FAFSA data, and FTI. Note that FTI can only be shared in limited circumstances, even with student permission.
