St. Catherine University Career Opportunities Fair

Each fall, St. Kate's hosts a career fair featuring over 75 business, government and nonprofit employers. The fair is the largest on-campus career event in Minnesota, and is a terrific opportunity for students and alumni to network with employers regarding jobs or internships. The fair is open to St. Catherine University students and alumni only. Registration opens in early July.

Students of all levels benefit from attending this fair to network with hundreds of employers for jobs and internships in the nonprofit sectors. Breakout sessions teach students how to navigate the detailed application process for many positions, or learn the trends in nonprofit careers. This fair is typically held at the University of Minnesota. Advance registration is required.
Minnesota Private Colleges Job and Internship Fair
February 2020
This is the biggest recruiting event of the year, sponsored by all of the career centers at Minnesota's private colleges. Here, students can network with over 200 employers, distribute résumés, gather employer information, participate in screening interviews, and set up future interviews. Employers from business, nonprofit, government, and STEM fields are represented.
This event is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors and is typically held at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Pre-registration in the Career Development Center is required.
Minnesota Education Job Fair
April 2019
This fair is open to students and alums who will complete or have completed programs in teacher education and are looking for a teaching position. It is also open to other professionals eligible to work in schools like: nurses, counselors, or social workers.
Representatives from local, national, and international school districts as well as education-related nonprofits are in attendance to meet with and interview qualified candidates.The fair is held at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

- two-credit career development courses
- guest speaker sessions in many on-campus courses
- internship prep sessions
