Kick off the celebration of First Generation Student Week at St. Kate’s by claiming your place as a first-generation student. A first-generation college student is defined as anyone whose parent or parents who they lived with in high school did not have a bachelor’s degree at that time. First-generation students are trailblazers who establish a path for themselves, their families, and their communities. Celebrate your path to college by planting a flag on the quad, taking a photo, and connecting with other first-generation students, graduates, and St. Kate’s faculty and staff.
