Culturally Sustainable Pedagogy

This session introduces the framework of Culturally Sustainable Pedagogy (CSP), focusing on the framework’s tenets that actively sustain and revitalize students' linguistic, cultural, and community assets. We will discuss foundational principles, explore ways to integrate students' cultural knowledge and lived experiences into course content and activities, and collaborate on strategies for fostering a classroom environment that supports identity development and cultural continuity.
