SPREE and the GHR Legacy Fund are partnering to offer Research Grant Preparation Fellowship Awards for the '26-'27 academic year. These awards are intended to provide faculty with allocated time (one course release), resources, and mentoring to prepare an external research grant application. The expectation is that by the end of the year-long fellowship, at least one external research grant will be submitted. Proposed projects must include a major research component, which may be qualitative and/or quantitative.

Eligibility: All ranked St. Catherine University faculty are eligible to apply. If awarded, fellows are required to attend SPREE's grant workshop (end of May/early June 2026), meet monthly with mentors and with SPREE for project management, and submit at least one external grant proposal by May 2027.
