Becky Horton joined the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the Summer of 2025. Instructional Leadership: Serves as a primary instructor for Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) students, with core teaching responsibilities in connective tissue disorders, motor control, pediatric and neurologic rehabilitation. Designs and delivers evidence-based content that bridges clinical expertise with academic theory. Professional Practice Integration: Leverages over 20 years of clinical experience and Board Certification in Neurologic Physical Therapy to mentor students in clinical decision-making and practical skill application. Research & Collaboration: Continue to advance clinical practice through ongoing research involvement in shoulder proprioception in persons with and without hypermobility, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a professional practice contract. Clinical Practce: She continues to practice periodically at M Health Fairview's Saint Paul Neurologic Rehab Clinic. Areas expertise include movement disorders (Parkinsons Disease), neurological degenerative conditions (MS, ALS, muscular dystrophy), vestibular disorders (concussion, BPPV, vestibular hypofunction), and connective tissue disorders (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, generalized hypermobility).
