Refund Schedules

What percentage refund are you going to get if you drop a course? It's important that you check the refund schedule that applies to your course.

Before dropping a course, check with the Financial Aid office so they can review your financial aid eligibility. They will determine what, if any, changes will need to be made if you make changes to your registration.

Global Studies and study abroad courses (including on-campus courses with an embedded program abroad) have a specific cancellation and refund schedule. For further information, contact the Office of Global Studies.

New College for Women Students Enrolling Fall 2026: Banded Tuition Refund Schedule Information

New College for Women students enrolling fall 2026 will be assessed tuition under the banded rate model will be charged the banded tuition rate if enrolled in 12-18 credit hours; therefore, tuition adjustments may occur only if the student drops below the banded amount or adds credit hours above the banded amount. Fall 2026

1st 5-Week Session

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Aug 31–Sept 2
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Sept 3–Sept 4
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after September 4, 2026

2nd 5-Week Session

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Oct 5–Oct 7
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Oct 8–Oct 9
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after October 9, 2026

3rd 5-Week Session

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Nov 9-Nov 11
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Nov 12–Nov 13
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after November 13, 2026

Spring 2027

1st 5-Week Session

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Jan 11–Jan 13
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Jan 14–Jan 15
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after January 15, 2027

2nd 5-Week Session

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Feb 15–Feb 17
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Feb 18–Feb 19
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after February 19, 2027

3rd 5-Week Session

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Mar 29–Apr 1
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Apr 2–Apr 3
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after April 3, 2027

Fall 2026

1st Half Semester

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Aug 31–Sept 4
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Sept 5–Sept 6
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after September 6, 2026

2nd Half Semester

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Oct 26–Oct 30
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Oct 31–Nov 1
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after November 1, 2026

Spring 2027

1st Half Semester

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Jan 11 – Jan 16
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Jan 17 – Jan 18
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after January 18, 2027

2nd Half Semester

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Mar 15 – Mar 20
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Mar 21 – Mar 22
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after March 22, 2027

Fall 2026

Full Term Courses

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Aug 31–Sept 8
  • 75% refund if withdrawal occurs between Sept 9–Sept 13
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Sept 14–Sept 20
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after September 20, 2026

Spring 2027

Full Term Courses

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Jan 11–Jan 19
  • 75% refund if withdrawal occurs between Jan 20–Jan 25
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Jan 26–Feb 1
  • No refund if withdrawal occurs after February 1, 2027

Full Term Courses (10-14 Week Courses)

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between May 17–May 25
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between May 26–May 30
  • No Refund after May 30, 2027

Half Term (6-7 Week Courses) 

First Half Semester

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between May 17–May 21
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between May 22–May 23
  • No Refund after May 23, 2027

Second Half Semester

  • 100% refund if withdrawal occurs between Jul 06–Jul 10
  • 50% refund if withdrawal occurs between Jul 11– Jul 12
  • No Refund after July 12, 2027
