Shape Change with a Degree in Public Policy
With an emphasis on applied policy research, a public policy major from St. Catherine University will help you use economic and political tools to evaluate the impact of policies and programs on communities.
Elevate Your Influence and Contribute to Positive Change.
Immerse yourself in the dynamic realm of public policy and drive impactful change with St. Catherine University’s distinguished public policy program. Designed to empower students with the knowledge and skills to navigate complex societal challenges, our program prepares future leaders to influence policy decisions that shape our world.
Our public policy program stands at the forefront of equipping individuals with the expertise to address pressing issues and create a more just and equitable society. You’ll pair broad theoretical work with applied skills needed in today’s policy analyst roles — including cost-benefit analysis, policy evaluation, data visualization, and how to craft an effective policy memo.
Our faculty members, renowned for their research and advocacy, guide students through a comprehensive curriculum that combines theory and practical application.
Gain practical experience through an independent or collaborative research project or an internship. Collaborative research allows students to work with faculty and apply their skills to real policy problems such as racial profiling in Minneapolis, and hiring and retaining teachers with Minneapolis Public Schools.
