Are transgender men eligible for admission?
Individuals who identify as men are eligible and encouraged to apply for admission to the College for Adults and to the Graduate College. Individuals who identify as men are not eligible for admission to the College for Women.
How will the Office of Admission know whether it has received an application from a transgender student?
Applicants have the option of self-disclosing as transgender in their communication with the admission office.
Will St. Catherine University require any statement beyond the applicant’s self-identification? For example, will transgender women need to establish that they have a history of living as a woman?
No. Whether a student transitions suddenly or has a long history with a particular gender identity will not have an impact on their application for admission.

No. Once a student is admitted, the University supports them regardless of their sex or gender identity.
