The People Sing is an evening of music that gives voice to the human spirit; celebrating resilience, identity, and the stories that connect us across generations and borders.
The program opens with Alberto Williams’ Primera Obertura de Concierto, an energetic and evocative work from one of Argentina’s pioneering composers. Florence Price’s The Oak follows, taking a dark introspective turn. The concert culminates with Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7, a masterpiece of passion and power that captures both the struggles and triumphs of a people striving to be heard.
Join the MPO for The People Sing, a stirring musical journey that reminds us that through every challenge and every celebration, the song of humanity continues to rise.
Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra is also offering a free livestream for this event. The livestream does not require a ticket but you must register on the MPO website.
