Anupama Pasricha, PhD, has global research and teaching experience of 25 years. She currently chairs the Department of Apparel, Merchandising, and Design at St. Catherine University. She also serves as executive director of Educators For Socially Responsible Apparel Practices (ESRAP) and serves on the board of directors of the Textile Center of Minnesota and advisory board of Sol Inspirations.

Rachel Breen is a visual artist and a professor of art at Anoka Ramsey Community College. She currently has an exhibition at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts titled "The Labor We Wear." Her artwork addresses the troublesome cycle of garment production and consumption — from dangerous factory conditions to problems caused by textile waste. Breen makes these relationships visible in order to find ways to break the toxic chain. She exhibits her work locally and nationally and is the recipient of four Minnesota State Arts Board grants, the Walker Art Center’s Open Field fellowship, and the 2019–2020 Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship.
