On Give to Honor Her Day 2021, nearly 400 donors gave a combined total of $66,783.
Donation Goal Surpassed
On February 16, we celebrated incredible, world-changing women during an unprecedented Give to Honor Her day. The results surpassed our goals, with a record-breaking 724 women honored by 384 donors—both numbers that have more than doubled since the first Give to Honor Her day in 2019. This year’s event raised $66,783 for the St. Catherine University Katie Fund.
Yesterday, on March 14, the names of the more than 700 women honored during Give to Honor Her appeared in a powerful tribute to women changing the world in the Pioneer Press and Star Tribune, a pinnacle moment in this celebration of women.
Celebrating Women Leaders on Two Levels
Each year on Give to Honor Her day, St. Kate’s alumni, faculty, staff, parents, spouses, friends, and inspired community members illuminate women changemakers while supporting the next generation of leaders and influencers.
“The stories that were shared this year were truly amazing—women were honored because they supported, mentored, encouraged, and have made a difference in families, communities, and the world. Despite the pandemic, over 700 women were recognized for their inspiring actions,” said Mary Beth Iverson ’85, Director of Annual Giving.
“Money raised during Give to Honor Her supports the Katie Fund, providing resources for critical scholarships, financial assistance, and student services. This allows our hardworking Katies to continue their education during even the toughest of times, so they can go forth and inspire others.”
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who participated in this moving tribute, particularly during this pivotal year—whether by illuminating a special woman in their life, or by being the changemaker who inspires. The Katie community has similarly inspired us by continuing to show up and make a difference in our world.
