This Nov. 18, make a difference with Give to St. Kate’s Day

The annual day of giving raises funds for student scholarships, athletics, food access, and other critical resources.

Mark your calendars: Wednesday, Nov. 18 is Give to St. Kate’s Day!

It’s St. Catherine University’s biggest day of giving, and we’re coming together to rally 700 donors in support of our incredible students. On Give to St. Kate’s Day, all donations go toward scholarships, athletics, food access, and other critical resources, ensuring that students receive all the support they need to thrive.

The St. Kate’s community of alumni, families, faculty, staff, and friends helps make our students’ success possible through their generosity. Deb Gagnon ’90, ’22 is one alumna whose experience at St. Kate’s has spurred her to give back.

“St. Kate’s cultivated the leader in me by giving me a chance to clarify my priorities, listen to my intuition, and give me opportunities to practice leading others,” said Gagnon. “I donate to St. Kate’s to help the next generation of students find their voices and learn to lead in their fields of work.”

Give to St. Kate’s Day is the best day to give because all gifts go further with dollar-for-dollar matches and challenge funds. Join a challenge — like the Parents Challenge, Faculty and Staff Challenge, or the Recent Grad Challenge to help us reach donor milestones and unlock bonus funds.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

  • Become an ambassador at stkate.edu/ambassador to access your referral link — the ambassadors who inspire the most gifts can win a smartwatch, AirPods, and more!
  • Join a challenge: From Class Leaderboards to the 50 States Challenge every gift will help us reach our goal.
  • Show your pride: Post a photo of yourself, your family, or your pets in St. Kate’s gear using #GoKatieGive to be featured on our socials and webpage! 💜🐾
  • Celebrate on campus with a scavenger hunt, photos with Katie Cat, and other opportunities for prizes at the table in the CdC between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

“Give to St. Kate’s Day in November is a great time to reflect on and give thanks for all that my own St. Kate’s education provided for me — a marketable degree, local recognition of the stellar St. Kate’s education, lifelong friends, and a mission that I still believe in after all the decades since my own graduation,” said Gagnon.
