MLIS Student Recommends Indigenous Literature on MPR and NPR

St. Kate's MLIS student Nadine Teisburg was featured on NPR's Code Switch

Nadine Teisburg, current Master of Library and Information Science student and employee at Birchbark Books in Minneapolis, has recently been featured on NPR's Code Switch recommending Indigenous authors and stories.

Check out Nadine's interview and book recommendation in this December Code Switch episode, and again in this short recommendation from MPR.

Of the experience, Teisburg says, "I was honored to represent Birchbark Books for MPR and NPR. Both experiences were surreal, and I still can't quite believe that I was on my favorite podcast! I am grateful that I was able to promote Native literature that I feel so strongly about, for both adults and children. I hope to continue to promote diverse literature for the rest of my life, with the help of my MLIS degree!"
