Give to St. Kate’s Day 2025: A historic day of generosity and pride

The annual giving day raised over $640,000 in support of students.

On November 12, our St. Catherine University community showed what Katies can achieve, raising $640,005 from 705 donors to support over 128 student scholarships and critical services on Give to St. Kate’s Day. St. Kate’s has been built by strong women who lead, influence, and make big things happen. That legacy lives on through every alum, parent, faculty and staff member, and friend who gave in support of our students.

This year’s highlights include:

  • Alumni class year participation spanned from the classes of 1947 to 2025, with the Class of 1990 topping the leaderboard!
  • Faculty and staff demonstrated their continuous dedication to our mission, with over 100 employee donors.
  • Parents and President’s Forum members joined in to help meet our new challenges.
  • St. Kate’s pride spanned the nation with donors from all 50 states.

With recent shifts in public funding, donor support becomes increasingly critical, and our community showed up to meet — and exceed  — our call to action. Every gift made on Give to St. Kate’s Day directly supports students through scholarships and other vital support services, helping to make a transformative education accessible for current and future Katies.

Rose Swe Zin ’27 shared, “Thank you for believing in us. Your generosity doesn’t just fund scholarships, it fuels dreams, opens doors, and creates opportunities that ripple far beyond the lecture rooms. Because of you, students like me can focus on learning, growing, and giving back. You’re making a real difference in our lives, and I’m deeply grateful.”

Thank you to all of our 2025 Give to St. Kate’s Day donors.
