In December, the United Soccer Coaches announced the 2025 All-Region Teams, including honors for five St. Catherine University soccer student-athletes: Briana Henaman ’26, Bella Meier ’26, Natalie Pfleger ’26, DPT’27, Brianna Valdez ’28, and Jaidyn Richter ’28. This is the third consecutive season that the Wildcats have placed five athletes on the prestigious list, which included first-team selections for Henaman and Meier.
“I couldn't be more proud of this team and these five individuals,” said Jesse Campos, head Wildcats soccer coach. “[Seniors Henaman and Pfleger] have given so much to this program over their four-year careers. This year they served as captains and led the team to its most successful season in program history with 17 wins, a MIAC Conference Championship, and a fifth consecutive NCAA National Tournament appearance.”
Each year the United Soccer Coaches recognize student-athletes across the country for accomplishments in the classroom and on the field. Campos cites Pfleger as an impressive example of Wildcat commitment to athletic and academic success.
“This fall Natalie competed in her final soccer season, served as team captain, and completed her first semester of grad school in our DPT program while maintaining a 3.7 GPA,” Campos shared. “I can't tell you how many times she would spend all day at clinicals or cadaver lab, and then quickly get to the soccer field to suit up for a game, score a game winner — and then spend all night studying for a grad school exam the next day.”
