Moving Forward as State Restrictions Change — May 13, 2021

Dear St. Catherine Community,

Last week, Governor Walz announced his plan to end statewide COVID-19 restrictions as more people become vaccinated. As we move forward with our phased transition back to campus, returning to the robust experience and vibrant community that makes St. Kate’s special, many of you are wondering what impact this news will have on campus policies and protocols.

We continue to work closely with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and anticipate additional guidance specifically for higher education institutions soon. As we have throughout the pandemic, we will then review the University’s Preparedness Plan and make adjustments as needed to align with any new or updated recommendations. Once this process has been completed, we will share those changes and a timeline for implementation with you; until then, all current policies and procedures remain in effect.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to each other and patience as we navigate the coming weeks and months.

Sincerely,

Safely Returning to Campus Committee Co-Chairs
