Join us on September 12 for an alumni reception in the Catherine G. Murphy Gallery. Nicole Watson, Gallery Director will give a short talk introducing the current exhibit, Latina and Latinx MN: Re/claiming Space in Times of Change. Appetizers and refreshments will be served. 

 

Following the reception, we will walk over to the O'Shaughnessy to attend TPT's Mix Tape: Women's Civic Leadership Then & Now. This interactive experience explores the role of women in leadership, civic engagement, and education. Clips from the recent Twin Cities PBS (TPT) Minnesota Experience films highlighting women change-makers will spark lively discussion with regional leaders. Featuring President Marcheta Evans, PhD, this event will be emceed by DJ Miss Brit, current student Josi Aguilera ’25, and MAOL faculty and alum Kabo Yang MAOL’09.
