Vocational Discernment Retreat

- : Google Outlook iCal

Co-hosted by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Thomas University, and St. Catherine University. This event is primarily for 2-3rd year undergraduate students, though all St. Kate's and St. Thomas students are welcome!

Over the course of four hours, you will have time for individual and small group reflection, mindful movement to practice listening to your body, and large group discussion over a shared dinner. You will leave the retreat with ideas of how to spring into a more purposeful routine that allows you to continue exploring and discerning your vocation.

The concept of vocation is rooted in Christianity; yet, the goal of designing our lives with purpose is universal. This retreat will be inclusive for religious and non-religious people from any background, with space for spiritual practice if you desire that as part of your reflection. The goal is to let you take a step back to assess how your current habits align with your values and ultimately what opportunities you want to explore next as you discern your own idea of a purposeful life.

The retreat is limited to 25 students from each university, for a total of 50 participants. Pre-register to save your spot and share your dietary needs on Handshake by March 27!
