Please join Annettte Vee, Associate Professor of English at University of Pittsburgh and lead author of the The Norton Guide to AI-Aware Teaching, for a talk and book club kickoff event.
Vee will be discussing practical tips for teaching in the age of AI, including how students are thinking about AI; how we as educators can rethink our assignments and policies to better manage AI; ways we can teach AI literacy skills; and how we can design assignments that are engaging, meaningful, and challenging to cognitively offload.
Lunch will be provided, and those who would like to join a monthly book club reading The Norton Guide to AI-Aware Teaching can sign up for a free copy of the book at the event. RSVPs are not required, though they are encouraged. We look forward to seeing you there. Please email if you have any questions.
