Bowl Decorating Event
This event will be separated into two segments: attendees can either come from 10-12 or 12-2. The bowls decorated at this event will be sold at our Soup Social for an optional donation, with proceeds going to fight food insecurity in our community. Attendees will select a bowl that has already been bisque fired, meaning it has been through the kiln once. They will decorate the bowl with underglazes, which are paints for ceramics that fuse to the clay in the kiln. After the event, we will collect the decorated bowls, dip them in clear glaze, and fire them again, making them food safe.
