The first Advocacy and Action Fair at St. Catherine University was dreamed up through an aspiration to encourage students to think and reflect deeply on their values and what current issues are important to them. Through that reflection, students can interact with local community organizations and campus organizations/resources to explore how they can take steps to become active advocates for what they believe in. Through this experience, students will be energized for the upcoming General Election, to be active participants in the civic sphere, and to use their voice through voting to advocate for the issues they’re passionate about.
