Why work on campus?
Working while attending college is a great way to get involved and make new friends. Students who work on campus make valuable connections with other students, staff, and faculty within the St. Kate’s community. Flexible scheduling works around your courses, athletic events, or other campus activities, and getting to and from work couldn’t be more convenient.
In addition to all of that, students who work on campus are exempt from FICA tax, so you also earn 7.65 percent more each pay period than if you work off campus. Research also shows that students who work on campus do better academically and have higher graduation rates.
What jobs are available?
Jobs are available in a variety of areas, including admission ambassadors, office assistants, meeting and event staff, library assistants, tutors, lifeguards, and dining services staff.
