Orientation Details

This program will include an opportunity to learn more about what it means to be a St. Kate's student. New students can expect to hear directly from University staff about tools that support student success, become familiar with campus resources, learn to navigate Brightspace D2L, and more. There will also be a question and answer session at the end of the program to address any questions that were not covered.

This program will take place in a virtual format. You will receive specific details about joining the live session in August. You will also have access to an online orientation, which is hosted in Brightspace D2L.

Academic Program Meetings

Each academic program will host a program meeting for its new students. You should receive email communication from your program director with the date, time, and platform being used for your program meeting. This is an opportunity to learn more about what you can expect in your graduate program and make sure that you have all of the information needed to start your program.

Accessing Online Orientation

New graduate students will have access to the online orientation available in Brightspace D2L beginning on Monday, August 17. Log in to Brightspace D2L to access the online “Welcome to St. Kate’s” orientation. Click on the waffle icon at the top and select the “Welcome to St. Kate’s” course.
