Orientation Details

This program will include an opportunity to learn more about what it means to be a St. Kate's student. New students can expect to hear directly from University staff about tools that support student success, become familiar with campus resources, learn to navigate Brightspace D2L, and more. There will also be a question and answer session at the end of the program to address any questions that were not covered.

This program will take place in a virtual format. You will receive specific details about joining the live session in August. You will also have access to an online orientation, which is hosted in Brightspace D2L.

Accessing the Online Orientation

Log in to Brightspace D2L to access the online “Welcome to St. Kate’s” orientation. Click on the waffle icon at the top and select the “Welcome to St. Kate’s” course. This is the same D2L course that you used for course registration.

Benefits of Participating

Orientation is the best way to learn about the resources available to you as a St. Kate’s student and prepare to start your program.

New students appreciate the opportunity to connect with University staff and faculty — it makes it easier to reach out when you need them.

Come prepared with your questions, as this is your chance to make sure you have all of the answers you need to start the semester off right.
