Katie Leadership Impact is a leadership development program that helps you realize your potential as a leader and build a meaningful career. The program fosters leadership skills through coursework, applied learning, internships, and student support.

Leadership and Influence

Your first class is Leadership and Influence. Explore your leadership strengths, learn how to become an effective leader, identify a leadership role that interests you, and gain practice leading.

Leadership Minor

The Leadership Minor is an interdisciplinary minor available to all undergraduate students at St. Catherine University. Through study and practice, students will discover that leadership can take many forms. With this minor, students are prepared to lead on campus, in their communities, and in their careers. A $2,000 scholarship is available for students who successfully complete the Leadership Minor and meet the need-based qualifications.

Scholarships to Support You

Need-based scholarships are available, and the application process is easy! Apply for $2,000 to take the Leadership and Influence course and an additional $1,000 to complete the Leadership Minor courses with a C- or better. 

A limited number of scholarships are available each semester. We review applications through out the year — apply at any time!

Katie Advisors

Through Katie Advisors, part of the Katie Leadership Impact Program, students are hired to work on a project for an organization, gaining valuable hands-on experiences. Katie Advisors consulting projects give students an opportunity to build the skills employers are seeking, work within a team, cultivate leadership skills, build networking connections, and explore career interests.

Students receive an hourly wage of $14.25 per hour. Students have the option to enroll in the Leadership Practicum Course to gain credit for working on the project. The number of credits will be based on the hours invested and range from two credits (80 hours) to four credits (160 hours).
