Uchendu Nwachukwu is an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy (MAOT) Bridge Program at St. Kate’s, where he teaches the Foundations course. He brings several years of experience in subacute rehab, home health, and school-based occupational therapy. He received his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from American International College and completed his Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (PP-OTD) at Shenandoah University. He presented at the 2024 New York State Occupational Therapy Association (NYSOTA) conference on integrating daily living skills training into the classroom of adolescent students with autism spectrum disorder. Committed to evidence-based practice and inter-professional collaboration, Uchendu has a passion for preparing future occupational therapists to deliver client-centered care through the application of theoretical concepts, strong clinical reasoning, and advocacy.
