Stephanie Grundy is an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy (MAOT) Bridge Program at St. Kate’s, where she serves as a lab instructor at the program’s Dallas location. She is a seasoned occupational therapist with experience in various settings. She was a COTA for 11 years before becoming an OTR where she worked in SNFs, inpatient rehab, adult home health, pediatric home health and acute care. Stephanie completed the COTA to OTR master’s degree in 2023, and continues to work in acute care. She frequently floats to the outpatient clinic. For a season, she worked as an accessibility specialist consulting for insurance carriers on major home modifications for catastrophic workers’ compensation cases. Stephanie has experience as a lab instructor and fieldwork facilitator with St. Kate’s online OTA program. She has taken Level I and Level II fieldwork students on the job as a FWE. Stephanie is excited for the opportunity to work alongside fellow OT practitioners who seek to never stop learning.
