Pooja A. Patel is an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy (MAOT) Bridge Program at St. Kate’s, where she teaches the OT Process–Older Adults and Evidence-Based Practice courses. She is a double-board-certified occupational therapist and gerontologist, educator, entrepreneur, and leader. She teaches across multiple OT programs and has guest lectured at universities nationwide on topics spanning mental health, aging, leadership, and AI literacy in occupational therapy. Pooja is the founder of Aging Together, an educational consultancy focused on elder care and the unfiltered realities of our care ecosystem through a podcast, blog, and newsletter. She is also building The OT Algorithm, an AI literacy initiative for occupational therapy students, practitioners, and educators. She serves as Director of Advocacy on the ILOTA Executive Board and as Website Coordinator for the Productive Aging SIS at AOTA.
