Kim Skavnak MSN, RN, PHN, LSN, NCSN

Kim joined the St. Catherine University School of Nursing faculty in late 2025. An alumna of St. Kate’s Adult and Evening program, she brings nearly two decades of clinical experience back to her alma mater. Kim’s background spans pediatrics, postpartum care, women’s surgery, and Level II neonatal nursing. She currently serves as a Licensed School Nurse specializing in adolescent health. Having navigated the same path as her students, Kim is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of nurses, offering first-hand insight into the dedication required to balance rigorous academic pursuits with professional and personal growth.
