Heather Johnson MSN, CPNP-PC

Heather is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at St. Catherine University. She began teaching in the program as adjunct faculty in 2025 and joined the full-time faculty in 2026. A pediatric nurse practitioner, she has specialized in pediatric hematology and oncology since 2008, caring for children with cancer and blood disorders. Her scholarly work focuses on quality improvement and program development, and she is committed to advancing supportive care for children with cancer. Through her teaching, she hopes to prepare the next generation of exceptional nurse practitioners who will improve the lives of children for years to come.
