Setting tuition, fee, room and board rates is a complex process. St. Kate’s leadership carefully evaluates the most essential issues, all within the context of the University’s mission and strategic plan, including:
- the local and national economy
- student financial need and the financial aid budget
- attracting and retaining high-quality faculty and staff
- maintaining and improving facilities
- developing new programs
- managing appropriate University reserves
- remaining competitive in relevant higher education markets (both private and public)
