2018–2019 Health Insurance Information

St. Catherine University cares for students' health and provides health insurance for the students in the College for Women and the College for Adults - Associate programs and OTA. In addition to those students, the University is also able to offer the plan to students in the College for Adults - Baccalaureate programs and Graduate College students in the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health (HSSH).

Fall Waiver/Enrollment Opens August 13, 2018.

St. Catherine University requires that all degree-seeking students enrolled in the College for Women, College for Adults – Associate and Baccalaureate Students and Henrietta Schmoll School of Health (HSSH) Graduate Students be covered by health insurance.

All degree-seeking students enrolled in the College for Women, College for Adults – both Associate and Baccalaureate Students and Henrietta Schmoll School of Health (HSSH) Graduate Students are automatically enrolled in UnitedHealthcare (UHC) student insurance. The premium ($1,952.00 annually) is automatically posted to the student’s account. Please see below for the billing breakdown.

This is an annual plan. Students who have not waived out by their deadline will remain enrolled for the entire coverage period and will be financially responsible for the full premium amount.

Students with the University Sponsored Health Insurance through UHC can be seen at the Health and Wellness Clinic for all covered expenses at no cost.

Please note: Please note: Due to clinical requirements, only the graduate students in the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health are automatically enrolled/offered in the University sponsored health insurance plan.
