2017–2018 Health Insurance Information

Traditional Undergraduate and Associate Students

Fall 2017 waiver deadline: September 22, 2017

St. Catherine University requires that all degree-seeking students enrolled in the St. Paul Day Baccalaureate and Minneapolis Associate programs be covered by health insurance.

Every St. Paul Day Baccalaureate and Minneapolis Associate student is automatically enrolled in UnitedHealthcare (UHC) student insurance. The premium ($1,737 annually) is automatically posted to the student’s account.

Students who already have health insurance may waive out of the University-provided student insurance plan, but must do so by September 22, 2017. Once your waiver is approved the health insurance charge will be removed from your student account.

This is an annual plan. Students who have not waived out by the deadline will remain enrolled for the entire coverage period and will be financially responsible for the full-year premium amount.

Students with the University Sponsored Health Insurance through UHC can be seen at the Health and Wellness Clinic for all covered expenses at no cost.

Please note: There are no plans available for adult bachelor’s and graduate students.
