Looking for the perfect opportunity to share your talents? Catherine's Monologues is a student initiated, written and acted event. You can submit original monologues, music, poetry, etc. about your personal life experiences, and along with other Katies, share the breadth of our student's background.
Let’s dance! The Charity Ball is a semi-formal social event held each December to raise money for Sarah’s…an Oasis for Women. Sarah's, a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph, provides a welcoming space for women looking for housing, community and safety on a temporary basis.
Congratulations graduates! St. Catherine University holds two commencement ceremonies per year to celebrate your academic achievements. The ceremonies are held in winter (December) and spring (May).
Dew Drop Bop
Celebrate the end of the academic year with us! The Dew Drop Bop is our annual end-of-the-year celebration for the St. Kate's community is held on the last day of classes in May. The Dew Drop Bop encompasses a carnival-type feel with wonderful food, music, entertainment, and fantastic prizes.
Family and Friends Weekend
Bring the whole family to campus and share your experiences on campus! Each October, Family and Friends Weekend provides time for students to share and celebrate St. Kate's with their the entire family. Past Family Weekend activities have included a reception in the Catherine G. Murphy Gallery, Parent and Family Association breakfast, pumpkin painting contest, fun Saturday night entertainment, and a Sunday brunch.

Honors & Awards Ceremony
Each May St. Catherine University hosts the Honors and Awards Ceremony to honor student achievement in academics and leadership. The event begins with a reception that includes displays highlighting student award winners' accomplishments. This is followed by a formal program, which allows individual departments and the University as a whole to present awards recognizing student achievement. Among the many honors bestowed at the ceremony, the University recognizes students through the All-University Student Leadership Awards. These awards recognize students' contributions to co-curricular and academic life at St. Kate's, their growth in leadership roles, and their involvement in campus life.

Social Events and Experiences for Katies (SEEK)
Do you want to get involved in all types of fun campus activities? SEEK exists to encourage leadership by creating a vibrant community that embraces our uniqueness. SEEK sponsors novelty events DIY day brighteners, newly released movies, musical events, and speakers. At the end of each year, SEEK hosts a huge carnival called Dew Drop Bop. Not only does SEEK provide on-campus opportunities, but they also sponsor Twin Cities Trips such as the Mall of America scavenger hunt and tickets to events such as the Trail of Terror.
The Pulse is a vibrant venue that combines events and food! The Pulse offers two monthly programs: Saturday Cinema, showing newly released films and Pulse Unplugged, featuring local bands and artists. The Pulse also works in collaboration with clubs and organizations to sponsor diverse activities for all students. The Pulse includes a bistro featuring a wood fire grill for pizzas, pasta and panini and a coffee shop run by Sodexo.
