Become a lector and share the weekly readings at Mass. Welcome the community as a greeter, providing hospitality as they invite all people to join in the celebration. Share in the Holy Sacrament as a Communion minister, helping distribute Communion to the community every Sunday.
Become a cantor, and participate in a monthly rotating schedule. Share your musical gifts by becoming a chapel singer and instrumentalist. This group meets every Sunday morning for rehearsal prior to Sunday mass at 10:30 a.m. Help make ceremonies even more special as a celebration singer. This group prepares for special celebrations that occur periodically throughout the year.
Come share your gift of movement. Throughout the year, there are special celebrations that include liturgical dance. If you are willing and able, join us as they praise God through these dances of joy.
Students interested in participating in any of these ministries should contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 651.690.6724.

Find your path.
Share your faith and support another community member as a prayer partner. A prayer partner is a person who will pray for students daily and students for him/her. Students don't need to be Catholic to have a prayer partner. Prayer partners want to support students in all that you need to be successful in college.
If you are seeking spiritual guidance, the Center for Spirituality and Social Justice provides the opportunity for students to connect with spiritual mentors. Regardless of the issue you are facing, spiritual mentors are there to lend a listening ear, offering a reflective & supportive presence. With academic competence and real life experiences, spiritual mentors provide guidance and space to students to explore and discover a path to the divine. There is no fee to meet with a spiritual mentor, and sessions take place around a student's schedule on the Minneapolis or St. Paul campus.
Small Faith Sharing Groups
Connect with friends and celebrate and support one another in college in a Sharing of the Heart group. These groups are intentionally-formed communities that run for a set amount of time each semester that allow you to connect in faith and friendship over a specific theme or topic. Sharing of the Heart groups range in themes and vary in faith sharing and Bible study opportunities.
The Center for Spirituality and Social Justice offers retreat experiences throughout the year as a way to reconnect and go deeper. These retreats provide students with the opportunity to explore their faith in new ways on and off campus.
Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
If you would like to explore receiving the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and/or First Eucharist, St. Catherine University’s RCIA is here to welcome you into the Catholic faith community. This program is also for students who are already baptized in another Christian denomination and would like to become Catholic. Sacraments typically occur at the Easter Vigil each year.
Students seeking Confirmation will find all of the necessary resources on campus. Confirmation preparation will take place on most Wednesdays in March and April during spring semester, though registration is required.
Students who are interested in any of the retreats or spiritual growth opportunities should contact email@example.com or 651.690.6724.
Social justice is an integral part of the University's history and mission, and we offer several ways for you to join in this shared goal. Take a Justice Immersion Trip, participate in Catholic Relief Services, or get involved with Volunteers in Action.
The Chapel is available for events and wedding ceremonies and receptions.
