St. Kate’s offers you options to pick up a transferable course while you’re on break from another college or university, or if you simply want to learn more about a subject that interests you.
For 2017, you can choose from 5-week, 7-week and 10-week courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels on our St. Paul campus, or 7-week and 10-week courses, primarily at the lower-division (1000 and 2000) undergraduate level, in Minneapolis.
View the full list of options available to undergraduate, graduate, associate, and OTA Online students this summer, or browse the course descriptions in Kateway.
Current students register online in Kateway, under the "Student" tab. Early registration is encouraged.
Summer session billing statements will be available in Kateway after June 1.
View the academic calendar for the last day to add or drop a class online. Changes in registration after online registration closes must be made through the Office of the Registrar. Use the change in registration form to make registration changes in person, via fax or email.

Visiting students from other colleges and universities who will only be taking summer courses do not need to complete an application for admission to St. Catherine University.

If, after your registration is confirmed, you wish to drop your summer course or change your registration, please use the below Change in Registration form. The date this form is received determines the refund amount, if any. See the Summer 2017 refund schedule. The $100 deposit is non-refundable.
Looking for convenient and affordable housing for the summer? There are substantial discounts in the residence halls this summer and you’ll be close to all the neighborhood activities and events. Enjoy St. Kate’s park-like grounds right outside your door.
Students living here this summer will live in Alberta, Georgia, and Morrison Halls. Housing is available for both St. Paul and Minneapolis students. Enjoy suite and apartment style housing with great amenities like air-conditioning, wireless internet, free laundry, cable, HBO, and more! Students do not need to be enrolled for summer classes to live here this summer. Just stay for the fun!
St. Catherine offers flexible summer dates. Summer housing is available in three periods. You must commit and pay for at least one full-period, but you're welcome to stay two or three periods too!
Yes. You may live on campus until August 11.
Residence Life will try to place students, who are living here the entire summer, into their fall spaces. It depends on numerous factors like whether your fall space will be available (or maybe it's closed for maintenance work or someone currently living there is staying for summer) but our goal to assign you to your fall space. You have better chance of getting placed into your fall space if you submit your Summer Housing Agreement before May 1.
You are welcome to stay on campus at no additional charge from May 19–June 5. You'll stay in your current space until Turn-Around Days on May 24 and 25.
Yes. You may live on-campus during period one (June 5–July 7) or period two (July 10–August 11) — or both (June 5–August 11). If you are renting a space off-campus, please note that you must vacate the residence halls on August 11. We are not able to accommodate requests to stay later than August 11. Please remember this when signing off-campus leases or agreements.
The entire summer housing fee (all periods) will be applied to your student account in May. Please refer to the Summer Rates sheet for more information. Students may work out payment plans with the Student Accounts Office.
Yes. To keep the cost of your housing down, Residence Life will assign you roommates. If you don't have enough roommates to fill a suite or apartment, Residence Life will assign other students to the open spaces.
Buy-out options are available in Alberta & Georgia. Buy-out options are not available in Morrison Hall. While completing the online Summer Housing Agreement on My Housing, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about and choose a buy-out option. Please refer to the Summer Rates for information about buy-out costs. Unlike the academic year, all roommates must share the cost for buying out a bed space.
