Update (May 14, 5:50 p.m.) Wildcat's fight their way back into the NCAA Division III softball regional championship first game with a win over Simpson College today, 8-3. The game was highlighted by a home run from Robyn Rohr '16 at the top of the second inning and a five-run fifth inning. They will face Luther College again at noon Sunday. Update (May 14, 3 p.m.) Wildcat Softball fell to Luther College in its second game of the NCAA Division III softball tournament. The Wildcats' seventh inning rally was cut short and the final score was 6-4. They can get themselves back into Sunday's championship game with a win over Simpson College at 4 p.m. today.
Update (May 13, 10:50 a.m.): Wildcat Softball won its opening game in the NCAA Division III softball tournament 1-0 over Simpson this morning at the regional tournament in Decorah, Iowa. Krista Flugstad '18 scored the game-winning run in the sixth inning.
The Wildcats play again at 11 a.m. tomorrow against the winner of the game between Luther College, the regional host, and Wisconsin-Superior.

It was a clutch weekend for the St. Catherine University softball team and Megan Lindenefelser '18 (Nowthen, Minn. / Anoka). The sophomore made several big plays over the weekend on offense, defense, and on the mound to help the
Wildcats make the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoff Championship game in the team’s first trip to the conference tournament. For her performances, Lindenfelser has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week.
