Join the Muslim Student Association and MIPS for an evening of discussion as they examine the recent events in Libya involving the exploitation of migrants and the reports of people being auctioned — some for as little as $400 each. Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery in which victims are often lured by false promises of decent jobs and better lives.
Come and engage with a panel of experts who will go in-depth regarding the tentacles of human trafficking. Come learn what local organizations, government and international partners are doing to address these concerning issues.
