Conversation with Books 2019

Saturday, February 9, 2019

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Rauenhorst Ballroom, Coeur de Catherine

Each winter since 1965, book lovers have gathered at St. Kate's to talk about the best in new literature. Conversation with Books is an annual opportunity to talk about favorites from the book list, or to help decide what books you should add to your reading queue.

  • Pamela Fletcher, St. Kate's professor of Women's Studies and director of the Writing Intensive Program of the Department of English
  • Cecilia Konchar Farr, St. Kate's professor of English and Women's Studies, chair of the Department of English
  • Ruth Haag Brombach '60, alumnae/i liaison
  • Judie Martens Flahavan '60, retired educator and businesswoman

Cost is $25 per person, but groups of 5+ who register together receive a $5/person discount. Dessert and beverage will be served.

A book list is provided for those who wish to read the titles before the event, but advance reading of the books is not required. All are welcome. Bring a friend, a family member, or your book club!

For a preliminary book list, campus map and other event details, visit the Conversations with Books page.
