Black Lives Matter: Reading & Teaching for Racial Justice

St. Catherine University Master of Library and Information Science Program presents "#BlackLivesMatter: Reading & Teaching for Racial Justice." Dr. Duchess Harris, Chair of American Studies at Macalester College, will share the book she co-authored with Sue Bradford Edwards, titled Black Lives Matter, and address how educators can prepare students to lead and influence in a world fraught with racial tension.

This free event is co-sponsored by St. Kate's Office of Endowed Chairs for Mission and is part of the One Read For Racial Justice initiative at St. Kate's.

Books will be available for sale.
