Caroline Kent is St. Catherine University's Amy Marie Sears Visiting Artist, October 15-18. Join us for Kent's lecture about her painting practice and the work featured in her current exhibition, "The Kármán Line."
During her week-long residency at St. Kate's, Kent will explore the role of improvisation and performance in interpreting her abstract paintings. Kent will host student workshops investigating movement, acting and shape invention to provide a framework of alternative, experiential contexts for her work.
This event is free and open to the public.
