In this 2017 Bonnie Jean Kelly Distinguished Scholar Lecture and 2017 Women of Substance Festival event, featured speaker Rachel Lloyd presents "A World for Girls: Commercial Sexual Exploitation and Social Justice."
An international change-maker who has shifted public perception and policy on sexual exploited girls and young women, Rachel Lloyd founded Girls Education and Mentoring Services in 1998, when she was 23 years old. After immigrating to the United States, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Marymount Manhattan College and a master's in applied urban anthropology from the City College of New York.
