A global pandemic, the Great Resignation, a racial reckoning, widespread social unrest, an insurrection, conspiracy theories taking hold, economic volatility, the climate crisis, global instability, extreme polarization: Everywhere we look, we can find disorder that not only threatens our day-to-day life, but has had a substantial impact on our lives.
How can leaders maintain their footing, ignite their imagination, and use their influence to create a better future?
The Inaugural event of the MAOL Colloquium Series recognizes the chaotic and uncertain nature of our current times and turns toward Margaret Wheatley's 2017 text, Who Do We Choose to Be?: Facing Reality, Claiming Leadership, Restoring Sanity, as a means to contemplate individual, collective, and organizational action.
Our featured speaker will be Mary Ann Graham, MSW, PhD, LISW, the MSW Program Director and a tenured Associate Professor at St. Catherine University.
We are excited to invite you to this MAOL Leading Edge Colloquium Pilot!
