March 6–7, 2021 | Virtual Conference

The Octavia E. Butler Literary Society invites you to join us for the third biennial conference where we will feature work honoring Butler, hosted by St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Since 2016, The Octavia E. Butler Literary Society has been hosting a biennial conference that brings together scholars and lovers of Butler to highlight and celebrate her work. The conference features not only the traditional scholarly presentations from academics but also invites community members to present expressions of their interactions with Butler.
