Building Hours

  • Coeur de Catherine
    • Monday–Friday: 7 a.m.–10 p.m.
    • Saturday–Sunday: 8 a.m.–7 p.m.
  • Butler Center 
    • Open to resident students, student athletes, and students taking Tier One classes
    • Monday–Friday: 6 a.m.– 7 p.m.
    • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
    • Sunday: 12 – 3 p.m.

  • Dew Drop Lounge 
    • MondayFriday: 8 a.m.–1 p.m.

Student Service Office Hours

  • Abigail Quigley McCarthy Center for Women
    • The Center for Women gathering space is temporarily closed. We will continue to offer bag lunches, academic workshops and community-focused events online throughout spring semester.
    • Center staff are available to support students remotely. Students, staff, faculty and community members can reach us Monday–Friday via email at aqmcenterforwomen@stkate.edu.
  • Academic Advising
    • Professional advisors are available. Please email academicadvising@stkate.edu and continue to use the Student Success portal.
  • Access and Success 
    • In-person support/drop-ins  
      • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
    • Staff are connected and fully equipped to support students remotely. Contact the program at accessandsuccess@stkate.edu for details.
  • Bookstore 
    • MondayFriday: 10 a.m.3 p.m.
    • For spring 2021, textbooks will only be available for purchase online.

  • Career Development 
    • Career Services is offering all services virtually. Please contact staff with any questions via email (askcareer@stkate.edu)
  • The Catherine G. Murphy Gallery 
    • The Gallery is temporarily closed.
    • Special online programming is available at the Gallery website

  • The Center for Spirituality and Social Justice 
    • Monday–Thursday: 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
    • Staff are also available by email at spiritandjustice@stkate.edu, and will respond as soon as possible.
  • Community Work and Learning 
    • The office will be open Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., as well as some Fridays. There is a doorbell outside the office. We have socially distanced meeting space set up in our main area.
    • If you prefer to set up a virtual check in, reach out to communitywork@stkate.edu or call our main office phone, 651-690-6842. 
  • Counseling Center 
    • This spring, our regular counseling schedule will run between February 1 and May 14. Counseling sessions will be offered to currently enrolled students by secure video platform or phone. View the Counseling Center page or contact them directly for services offered during finals week.
    • Students can request initial appointments by filling out our Spring 2021 Appointment Request Form. Should you need to contact us in the meantime, you may do so by emailing (preferred at this time) counselingcenter@stkate.edu or calling 651-690-6805.
    • To access the after-hours crisis counseling line, students should call the St. Kate’s Counseling Center front desk at 651-690-6805 and press 1 at the prompt to be connected to a counselor.
  • Disability Services 
    • Staff are available by email at oneill_center@stkate.edu, and will continue to support students with accommodations and other needs.
  • Document Center 
    • MondayFriday: 8 a.m.5 p.m.
  • Early Childhood Center 
    • Open, with limited capacity.
  • Financial Aid 
    • Staff are working remotely and students and families should email finaid@stkate.edu for assistance.
  • Food Shelf 
    • The St. Kate’s Food Shelf will be open every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
    • Rather than shopping, students are asked to place requests through this form. Residence Life staff will deliver food orders to on-campus students, and curbside pickup will be arranged for off-campus students. Email foodshelf@stkate.edu with questions. 
  • Global Studies 
    • Staff are connected and fully equipped to support students remotely. Students can reach us via email (globalstudies@stkate.edu) and through virtual or over-the-phone advising sessions (Monday - Friday). 
  • Health and Wellness Clinic 
    • The clinic continues to see all mental health appointments virtually, but is open by appointment for women’s health, COVID testing and other health concerns. Call the clinic at 651-690-6714 to schedule.
  • Library
    • Monday–Thursday: 8 a.m.6 p.m.
    • Friday: 8 a.m.4 p.m.
    • Saturday: 14 p.m.
    • The Library is open for study space, accessing books and journals from the physical collection, as well as computers and printing. Hours remain reduced through Spring 2021, with plans to resume normal open hours in the Summer. Book check-out is available via advance requests using Library Pick Up or retrieving your own books for check-out at the desk (both are no-contact processes). Research librarians continue to be available to students in each D2L course shell, online through 24/7 Chat, by email or scheduling an appointment, and a Research Assistance Zoom Room.   • Money Management

    • The office is available for virtual personalized scholarship search, budgeting, and credit education appointments. Additional services and webinars through Lutheran Social Service Financial Counseling also available by calling 1-888-577-2227. Contact moneymentors@stkate.edu with questions.
  • Multicultural and International Programs and Services (MIPS) 
    • Monday–Thursday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
    • Staff are working remotely and can be reached at MIPS@stkate.edu
    • Peer Mentors are also available to support their mentees.
  • O'Neill Center 
    • Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 8 a.m.–2 p.m. (general inquiries)
    • Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (testing by appointment)
    • The O’Neill Center will offer online tutoring in writing/reading, math/science, and College for Adults health programs. Instructions are provided on the O'Neill Center webpage. Limited on-site testing is available by appointment. 
  • Office of the Registrar
    • Staff are available to answer questions and meet needs. Specific service and staff contact information is available on the Registrar webpage. Email (registrar@stkate.edu) is the most efficient mode of communication.

    • Student clubs and organizations, we are here to help and please watch for Katie Club Connections newsletters and important email messages.
    • SEEK will be sharing virtual engagement opportunities via social media.
    • Student governing boards are accessible through their email, Student Senate (CFW students) at senate@stkate.edu, College for Adult Student Advisory Board (CFA students) cfastudentboard@stkate.edu, and Graduate Student Advisory Board (graduate students) gsab@stkate.edu.

    • All events hosted by external organizations are canceled for the fall semester. Internal events will be evaluated individually, with priority to groups with academic needs.
