Denise Silva serves as the Interim Director of Equity and Inclusion in the Department of Human Resources, Equity and Inclusion at St. Catherine University. Silva facilitates equity and inclusion workshops, learning opportunities, and professional development. In addition, she supports various equity and inclusion recruitment and retention strategies across the University.
Prior to joining St. Kate’s, Silva served as a diversity and inclusion internal consultant for human resources managers at General Mills. At General Mills, she designed and delivered inclusion business strategy training for United States manufacturing plant human resources managers and associates. Silva also previously served as a human resources manager and associate human resources manager at General Mills.
Silva earned a master’s of business administration (MBA) degree from Brigham Young University. Her focus area in the MBA program was strategic human resources.
