Alumni volunteerism is a vote of confidence in the future of the University, as well as a tribute to our history and the generous tradition of our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. As a volunteer, you are a key part of the St. Kate's community, helping bring our mission to life. Your support and commitment to our wonderful institution speaks volumes and inspires others.
We are excited to announce a new Katie Volunteer Program, designed to offer one time, short term, and ongoing volunteer opportunities to our incredible alumni from all three colleges. Based on your feedback, this program offers:
Save the date!
Provide day-of help for a St. Kate's alumni event.
Help St. Kate's identify challenges and opportunities in alumni engagement.
Participate in a note-writing campaign over lunch.
Lend a hand and welcome new first-year students moving into the residence halls.
Be interviewed by a current student and answer questions about your St. Kate’s experience and journey after graduation.
Share your insights with students and answer their questions.
As a partner sponsor to the YWCA Women’s Triathlon, St. Catherine University is excited to bring Katies together, both as athletes and volunteers to this women-centered event.
During our annual volunteer blitz, facilitate the service activity at your assigned site.
Help students prepare for presentation of their research work at national conference.
Introduce the speaker and participate in the Q&A at one to four online presentations.
Help plan and facilitate a successful class Reunion.
Help with athletics projects and events, and connect alumni with current student athletes.
Plan events and promote engagement in your local alumni chapter.
Connect members of your graduating class with St. Catherine University and with each other.
Create opportunities for Katies to connect with one another within a company, providing professional development and networking opportunities.

Members of the K2K team will connect with other Katies to share the importance of giving and ask classmates to make a gift to support the life transforming student experience at St. Kate's. This team of volunteers is made of up alumni from all generations and is supported by the Katie Fund team.
