    Homecoming 2017 — Celebrating at St. Kate's

    Join us on Saturday, September 23!

    We're planning a variety of activities and parties throughout the day. Come for just one activity, or make a full day of it and join in all the fun!

    Guests are welcome — bring a friend or your family and enjoy time on campus together.

12:30-2 p.m. Campus tours, an ice cream social with favorite faculty & staff, and the class of 2007 party Free
12:30-4 p.m. Outdoor lawn games Free
1 p.m. Wildcat soccer game vs. Bethel Free
2-4 p.m. Katiefest, the annual fall festival for St. Kate's alumnae/i and friends featuring samples of Minnesota-brewed beers, Minnesota wines and Oktoberfest-themed food. Everyone is welcome at Katiefest, regardless of class year. Guests are welcome too! 21+ event, ID will be checked. More details at stkate.edu/katiefest. $15 in advance, $20 at the door
3 p.m. Wildcat volleyball match vs. St. Mary's Free
3:45 p.m. Rising Star Alumnae/i Award Presentation, with President Becky Roloff Free
4-7:30 p.m. Classes of 2012 and 2002 party. Join classmates for wine and a painting class, guided by an experienced artist. You'll learn to paint a St. Kate's scene while enjoying wine with Katies. Painters of all skill levels are welcome. $30

Online registration is now closed. On-site registration is available in the 3rd floor atrium in Coeur de Catherine on Saturday.

    Rising Star Award

    Each year, St. Catherine University recognizes outstanding graduates who demonstrate:

    • excellence in leadership
    • service to others
    • an influential role in home, profession, community, church or volunteer activities
    • the ideals of the University

    St. Kate's recognizes young alumnae/i making a difference with the Rising Star Award. Nominations for St. Kate's alumnae/i who have graduated in the last 15 years (2002–2016) are considered for the Rising Star Award. Winners will be honored during Homecoming each fall.

    The 2017 Rising Star Award winner is Carmeann Foster '08, MSW'12 (pictured, right, with her family).

    St. Kate's faculty and staff are invited to the Homecoming ice cream social to catch up with students and share stories about what's been happening on campus. This event is free, but an RSVP is requested.
